We frequent this place as often as possible. It is important to keep gems like Sunflower Cafe & Collective striving and creating other cafes that offer similar experiences. The food is amazing and even when we have it delivered it is packed together so well.

I am visiting Wichita for the whole week and was looking for a decent coffee, a rare find in the US. Found this place and was really surprise. A nice and cosy shop, with a very personal attitude, not like the big food chain shops. Coffee is good, cookies of various types are baked by Nicole who is a charming and smiling woman. A true gem 💎 in Wichita

So many wonderful options for those with allergies!! I will say that there’s not much seating and this is an order at the counter type of place. Expect to spend more time here than usual because there was a line to order and then once we ordered the food took a while to get to you. However I understand as it is a small place with a small kitchen. It’s well worth it for me since there are such good options for me with my allergies

We thoroughly enjoy Sunflower Cafe & Collective. The food is yummy, healthy, great priced all along with a super neat environment with local merchandise and goodies. We like to look around while our food is being prepared and always find something new. Support local business and your gut health at the same time!

A remarkable cafe and gift store on Central just west of I-235. Expecting a coffee shop in my first visit, I discovered a lot of extra layers to Sunflower Cafe like the many gifts offered by local artists and creators. The dining setup was inviting with a chill vibe highlighted by a variety of great music that fit the shop well. Along with a food and beverage menu, there are plenty of gluten free and vegan options including ice cream. The place has lots of space to explore all of these nice options, but the main attraction for me was the awesome Halloween photo room, set up nicely for a horror themed selfie. I encourage all of Wichita to check out Sunflower Cafe & Collective.

love Love LOVE Sunflour!!! Amazing vegan options…Breakfast is delicious! I get their Southern gravy melt and my husband likes the Sunrise (but made into a wrap). They also have vegan/gf treats (slices of cake, cookies, whoopie pies). You also can’t miss the Swerve Vegan Soft serve ice cream!!! ***PLEASE have grace and patience when coming in…this is not a fast food joint or chain. They are family owned and staffed…they also make every order when you order - fresh and hot when they deliver to your table. LOVE SUPPORTING LOCAL! ***

This was a cozy, mom-and-pop style café that exudes warmth and charm. The space is clean and inviting, not overcrowded, making it perfect for a relaxed meal. I loved browsing the merchandise made by local artisans—it added a unique touch to the experience. The service was friendly and the staff made sure we felt welcome. Contrary to online recommendations, we didn’t need a reservation, which was a pleasant surprise! Waffles: The Buckeye Waffle was outstanding! It was perfectly balanced with bananas, chocolate drizzle, and just the right amount of peanut butter and whip cream. No extra syrup needed—it had a delightful combination of crunch and tenderness. Price: $9 Smoothies: 16oz Buckeye Smoothie: This was a treat, mirroring the delicious flavors of the waffles in a refreshing drink. Price: $7 Soy Chorizo & Plantain: Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this dish—definitely my favorite from the meal. Price: $7 Beef & Cheddar Empanada: While not bad, it didn’t stand out compared to the other mouthwatering options. Price: $7 The Hibiscus Tea: It was a bit sweeter than I prefer for hibiscus tea and didn’t quite compare to others I’ve had. Price: $3.50 (24oz) I had a delightful experience filled with a variety of delicious food options. Sunflour Café is a fantastic spot for vegetarians, offering vegan and gluten-free choices. What's better than four flavors of waffles to choose from? Not having to choose! I tried the flight of waffles for lunch today, and I LOVED each one! And better yet, they're gluten free and delicious!

Fun place to meet up & grab a coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. Snacks, a few bites, including vegan & a couple of micro shops with odds & ends. We grabbed a few sweets to bring home and a couple of protein balls. Great service. Highly recommended!

It took a few trip hit n miss but we made it. The service is unmatched. The history speaks volume. The look, the feel, the welcome ,the COLLECTION(pun) of local greatness wrapped in one beautiful eatery and business is amazing. Jackfruit is amazing. No bring taste, not overly or under seasoned. The pumpkin spice cake is a seasonal DRLIGHT!! match that with the ice cream(we were in vegan vegan sweet clouds😂🤣) . That HOMEMADE allergy and dietary conscious friendly Gravy is a MASTERPIECE!!? Heart and soul . We drank it like soup. U can just stop buy n buy it to put on rice , toast, and everything else u like smothered ... Thanksgiving gravy bowls just came easy this year. Get you some!!!! Drink it like soup on a wizard of Oz breeze day.. just a great business all around. Clean and well stocked. So many tools to keep clear of cross-contamination and the owners really do care about health is wealth. Everything was priced great and budget friendly ...
